I’m a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and have been practicing in Santa Barbara for over 12 years.

I provide fast working, highly personalized, solution-oriented counseling to help you achieve clarity about your relationships, life crises, values and decisions. I utilize my experience, education and evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches to help you manage anxiety, overcome depression and move forward in your life. I listen deeply and collaborate with you, enabling you to make the changes you want to make in your life.

I specialize in helping couples, individuals and teens resolve relationship conflicts, life crises and issues that contribute to anxiety and depression.

When appropriate, I utilize hypnosis, mindfulness training and body/mind approaches for the relief of phobias, anxiety and chronic pain.

Following a career in social services, I received my Master of Science Degree in Counseling from California State University, Northridge with the highest honors. I strive to bring the same level of excellence and dedication to my practice in Santa Barbara, California.

I’m happily married and the mom of two sons. I enjoy the arts, music (especially jazz and rock), literature, sports, hiking with my friends and dog, cooking, nature, and I’m dedicated to social and environmental causes.

I welcome people from all backgrounds and walks of life. I am a member of The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the Association for Psychological Science.
